Statement of Purpose

The sales group for Spartan Hospitality Group does not currently have a Web presence.
Spartan Hospitality Sales and Conference Services coordinate sales for weddings,
conferences and events at multiple venues. There is a need for a website that not only
outlines and promotes the different food and venue packages available through SHG, but
that also directs the guest to the appropriate sales team member who will coordinate the
purchase of the package.

This Web site will serve two purposes. The first is to outline and promote the venues and
services available through SHG. This will be accomplished through the development of
new web copy and photo assets that speak to the hospitality experience with SHG. The
second is to consolidate info of venues and services within one website that directs the
guest to contact the sales office to commit to purchase. There should be ample prompts
within the website to contact the office, and a succinct explanation of the process for
purchase.

Target Audience

The primary audience for this Web site includes four target markets: mid-Michigan
businesses; association, government and civic organizations; university departments and
administration; athletics; wedding planners; and high school administrators,
organizational leaders and university affiliated groups for tours. The secondary audience
is current and returning customers of Spartan Hospitality Group.
