Nokia 808 PureView Specifications And Release Date
Nokia has confirmed that it will begin to ship it is Nokia 808 Pureview 41-megapixel smartphone around the world.
The device, first displayed at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February, will be available at first in India and
Russia earlier progressing to it is way to the United Kingdom before the end of June.
The Nokia 808 PureView is the 1st smartphone to feature Nokia’s PureView technology that’s has said will come
through into the company’s Lumia range in the future. “PureView has all heightened the bar on imaging performance
for the all smartphone industry,” said Jo Harlow, Head of Smart Devices at Nokia. “We are moving to carry on
developing PureView for our future smartphones in ways that will again revolutionise the imaging experience”. The
phone, which back-number in development for several years, runs on the company’s Symbian OS suggesting
popularity for the handset could be limited.
The Nokia 808 PureView, as it is known, is a Symbian Belle-powered handset with four-inch nHD
ClearBlack AMOLED display, 16GB of storage, and class 10 pentaband HSDPA broadband data. 808, whose
camera tech should eventually find its way into Espoo’s Windows Phone lineup, also features Carl Zeiss optics and
1080p full HD video capture. Two more features of note: Dolby Digital Plus for 5.1 surround, also as full Recording for
top quality audio capture said to mirror CD levels. There is no word on the smartphone’s availability yet, simply we
expect the Nokia 808 PureView to go live in UAE in late May or early June.
