Ares Botok materials:

  Ares, 400 grams, cut into rough
  Young coconut, 200 g, grated lengthwise
  Red chili sauce, 15 pieces
  Galangal, 3 cm, rough cut, crushed
  Bay leaves, 3 pieces, cut into 2 parts per lembarnya
  Banana leaves to taste
  sufficient water


  Onion, 7 items
  Garlic, 4 cloves
  Red peppers, 5 pieces, seeded
  Toasted coriander, 1 teaspoon
  Grilled shrimp, 1.5 teaspoon
  Tamarind, 1/2 teaspoon
  Salt, to taste

How to make Botok Ares:

  Boil water to boil, put ares and a little salt. Cook until wilted ares. Remove and drain.
  Squeeze ares until the water actually dripping. Set aside.
  Mix the grated coconut and ares with ground spices. Stir until blended.
  Take a piece of banana leaf size of 10 × 15 cm. Give 2-3 tablespoons of batter on it ares.
  Give a piece of bay leaf, ginger and cayenne pepper. Wrap botok ares tum form.
  Heat a steamer pot, botok steamed until cooked. Lift. Serve warm.
