							                       RESOLUTION NO. 2008-________

      A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MCKINNEY, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING
      THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH TEXAS
      AQUATIC SUPPLY OF DALLAS, TEXAS FOR THE REMOVAL AND
      REPLACEMENT OF THE JUANITA MAXFIELD POOL FILTRATION
      SYSTEM.


      WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of McKinney, Texas has determined
               the need for the removal and replacement of the filtration
               system at the Juanita Maxfield Pool, and,

      WHEREAS, the City Council approved the budget on September 16, 2008;
               and,

      WHEREAS, the City desires to engage the services of Texas Aquatic Supply
               to remove and replace the filtration system at the Juanita
               Maxfield Pool (PK8107).

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MCKINNEY, TEXAS, THAT:


Section 1.   The City Manager is authorized to execute a contract with Texas
             Aquatic Supply in an amount not to exceed $88,000 for the removal
             and replacement of the filtration system at the Juanita Maxfield Pool.

PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MCKINNEY, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS ON THIS THE 16th DAY OF SEPTEMBER
2008.
