Accordion Reverse

							                      Accordion Reverse Teaching Points

Purpose: This is a hose deployment method for stretching hose when the nozzle-
person doesn’t have enough room to deploy the Accordion Forward. This
deployment may seem slower than the Accordion Forward however is still keeps
the stretch clean and is useful in stairwells and hallways.

Steps:

   1. Removing the hose from the apparatus the same as the Accordion Forward.
   2. Advance to the target, keeping all of the hose on the shoulder.
   3. When you arrive at the target, set the entire hose load on the ground. (Do
      so while still moving forward if space allows keeping the hose clean.)
   4. Grab one or more middle bights from the front of the bundle and run them
      back from the target. (Left photo below)
   5. If there is not enough space to run the bights back, drag the same bight
      back forward toward the nozzle. (Right photo below)
   6. Keeping the hose as clean as possible when setting it on the ground will
      make this deployment more successful.
