A group-to-group strategy

Since 1998, Accor has been developing partnership activities with major firms. These alliances
manifest a strategic determination to adopt an overall group-to-group approach that is
advantageous for both customers and partners. Naturally, this type of cooperation is concerned with
business segments that offer a potential for synergies or that target the same customer base known
for its mobility: transport, leisure activities, information and travel-related services.

The aim of Accor's joint strategy with its partners is to increase market share in a profitable way,
share resources in order to cut costs and time, increase the visibility and recognition of their brands,
and finally, create value for customers, for example, by developing new services and providing quick
and easy access to products and services.

At the same time as this global strategy, Accor hotels’ brands develop targeted alliances to refine
their marketing positioning. Customers’ expectations differ according to the brand, that is why some
of them create their own partners network. Some cooperations became a part of the brand DNA

Strategic partners for a few years, Accor and Europcar have teamed up to facilitate their respective
customers with their travel arrangements. Accor customers benefit from car rental discounts and
A|Club members, in addition, from exclusive advantages. Europcar corners are also implemented in
some Accor hotels to give our customers always more services. In parallel, Europcar customers
take advantage of hotel discounts when traveling.
Moreover, since January 2011, sponsors Team Europcar cycling team.

Since 1999, Accor and Air France has been linking in all markets and for all customer types with
more than 200 destinations served by both companies on 34 countries.
This partnership allows to develop joint actions to offer our common customers a variety and a
quality of exceptional services.

A platform of conversion was created between both loyalty programs: A|Club and Flying Blue.

Customers can book more than 1500 Accor hotels towards more than 250 destinations in France
and in Europe, and benefit from reductions on the price of rooms in participating Accor hotels:
• on weekend, 10 % discount at Pullman, MGallery, Novotel, Suite Novotel and Mercure hotels on
the best price of the day of the hotel and 5 % discount at Sofitel and all seasons / ibis styles.
• During the week, the best rate of the market in the 2 to 5*hotels: all seasons / ibis Styles, ibis,

For the SNCF commercial cardholders (Grand Voyageur, Escapades, Senior, 12-25, et Enfant +)
besides weekend discounts, the breakfast is offered to the cardholder and to the person sharing its
