The Fourteenth Annual Memorial Day Ceremony will be held
Saturday, May 26th, 2012 at the Fair Oaks Cemetery,

at 10 AM. Tom Askins will be the Master of Ceremonies.
The musical program will be provided by the American
Veterans Band, conducted by Warren “Bud” Turner.
There will be a Color Guard and Rifle Salute team
from Civil War Member Organizations.
Also a ceremony of the laying of the wreath
at the memorial in honor of over sixteen hundred
veterans who are buried in the cemetery.
The cemetery will be decorated with hundreds of flags
lining its roadways as “The Avenue of Flags.” We will
be adding more names to the Veterans Memorial Wall.
The Fair Oaks Historical Society and Orangevale/Fair

after the ceremony.
