     The products listed herein are based on a specific manufacturer to
     establish a standard of quality and minimum requirements. The Drawings
     and Specifications are based upon metal lockers, as manufactured by
     Tiffin Metal Products 1-800-537-0983. Products by any other
     manufacturers will be considered provided they comply with technical
     requirements and match the specified product in layout, configuration,
     construction, appearance and finish, in accordance with the design
     concept and intent and must be approved by the Department and/or
     Architect.

     Pistol Locker as manufactured by Tiffin Metal Products, a 4-compartment
     modular locker unit provides transitory, secure storage for Pistols or other
     small items such as knives, watches or wallets. These units can be
     mounted on a counter top or wall mounted with provisions for attaching
     two or more units together.
     Each unit is furnished with numbered doors and uniquely coded keys with
     manufacturers limited three year warranty,


1.1 NUMBER AND SIZE

     Sidearm Lockers as manufactured by Tiffin Metal Products, consisting of
     single units. Choose from four module sizes, with manufacturers limited
     three-year warranty. Each unit is furnished with numbered doors and
     uniquely coded keys.
     Each door is nominal 13”W x 6”H.

2.0 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

2.1 – LOCKS – Security type, replaceable lock cylinder with proprietary keying
system and 12-gauge locking cam. Each lock cylinder to be keyed differently. All
lock cylinders master keyed alike. Master key included.

2.2 MATERIALS - 7-gauge (.188 nominal) HRPO steel sheet CQ grade: free of
buckling, scale and surface imperfections (conforms to ASTM A-591. Wrapper to
be 14-gauge thickness. Recessed mounting brackets to be 10-gauge thickness.

2.3 FINISH – Baked on powder coat paint 5 mil min (warm beige texture
standard color).

2.4 LOCKER FABRICATION

A. FRAMES - Formed and welded into integrated units.

B. BODY - Flanged, angled, and holed to high industrial standard. Lockers to be
assembled by welded, bolted or riveted construction using corrosion resistant
nuts and bolts.

C. DOORS - Louverless, to open at least 130 degrees, Hinges to be cold rolled
16 gauge continuous type. Door is flush when closed and locked with minimal
edge clearance providing a pry-resistant feature. Safety chain prevents door
from dropping open. Each door is nominal 13”W x 6”H.

D. INTERIOR - Each compartment shall have the bottom lined.


3.0 ACCESSORIES

Number Plates: Manufacturer’s standard etched, embossed, or stamped, plastic
number plates with numerals at least ¼”H. Number lockers in sequence.
Numbering system shall be a (3) number system. Attach plates to each locker
door, near top, centered.

3.1 OPTIONAL

Tilt out doors. 10 Gauge doors and front.

4.0 Delivery - F.O.B. Tiffin, Ohio.

5.0 Installation - Installation and unloading of lockers by others.

WARRANTY - Manufacturers three year limited warranty against defects in
material and workmanship.
