ERB Week Reminders

							           ERB Testing April 17 - 20
        ERB testing will be April 17 – April 20, 2012.
        Makeup exams for students who are absent will be administered
         Friday afternoon, April 20, and Monday, April 23.

PLEASE. . . .

         Make sure your student is well rested. There will be no homework
          that week.
         Be sure your student eats a healthy, well-balanced breakfast.
         Make every effort to get your student to school on time. Testing
          will start shortly after 8:00 a.m.
         Re-schedule any morning appointments that are not emergencies
          so your student does not have to make up missed tests. Regular
          testing ends at 10:05 a.m. on Tuesday, 10:40 a.m. on Wednesday,
          9:35 a.m. on Thursday, and 9:30 a.m. on Friday. Testing for
          students who receive extended time will last longer each day.
         Make sure your student brings his or her calculator to school on
          Wednesday for the Math Part 2 test.
If students choose to use calculators for the testing (Wednesday, April 18 --
Math Part 2 only), they must bring their OWN calculators. The school will
not provide calculators for students.

   Students may use any four-function, scientific, or graphing calculator
   with the following exceptions:
       Calculators with QWERTY (typewriter-like) keypads
       Calculators with paper tape
       Calculators that make noise or “talk”
       Calculators that require an electric outlet
       Pocket organizers or hand-held and laptop computers
       Electronic writing pads and pen-input devices


        Make sure your student brings several #2 pencils to school each
         day.
