May 2008

It is with great pleasure that I am seeking to secure a teaching position within your school. I am
confident that my teaching abilities, combined with my strong interpersonal skills and Christian
work ethic would be an asset to your student’s learning and development.

I believe that education is a gift from God, and that it is my duty as an educator to present this gift
to students of all ages. It is my desire to get students excited about learning and exploring all
aspects of God’s creation from the beauty of language to the precision of numbers, from the
delicacy of the arts to the life lessons of the Bible and history. As a teacher, I hope to motivate
students in ascertaining their inner strengths and abilities to find what truly inspires them.

I believe that it is necessary to teach to the many different learning styles of the students. I do this
through hands-on activities, learning games, music, repetition, lecture, and any other means
necessary. I find that by being flexible and diverse within the classroom, I can stretch my students
to always raise the bar to higher levels.

I run a disciplined classroom with a warm and inviting atmosphere. I always strive to make my
classroom a place where my students feel encouraged and loved. It is my desire that the young
people that are put under my tutelage grow academically and socially, but most importantly

I work easily with other co-workers and am always open to suggestions in bettering my teaching
skills. I am eager to continue my growth as a teacher, and would welcome the opportunity to
discuss how I would assist you in your endeavor to help grow the students of your school into
well-educated, godly young men and women.

Please contact me at your convenience to set up a meeting so that we may discuss in greater detail
how my qualifications would best meet the needs of your educational program. I can best be
reached on my cell phone. Thank you for your time and consideration.
