   Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) Office of Long Range Planning

   Mr. Hamre will brief the committee on the work of TPB’s Regional Bus Subcommittee and
   WMATA’s efforts on a regional bus stop inventory and bus stop standards study. The committee
   will have an opportunity to discuss these topics and provide feedback to WMATA and the TPB Bus
   Subcommittee on AFA priorities for bus service.

4. Presentation on Displacement and Pedestrian Concerns around the New National’s Baseball

   Displacement Concerns of Non-Profit Organizations (15 minutes)
   Jennifer Murphy, Director and Co-Founder of Positive Nature, Inc.

   Ms. Murphy will describe the financial pressures placed on non-profit and businesses near the
   baseball stadium due to rising property values and tax assessments as a result of the new
   development. Positive Nature, Inc. is a non-profit that provides support to at-risk and emotionally
   disturbed youth in SE D.C.

  D.C. Policies and Aspirations to Counterbalance Gentrification (10 minutes)

  Mr. Davis will briefly describe D.C. policies that can counterbalance the negative impacts of
  gentrification.

  Pedestrian Access for Persons with Disabilities (10 minutes)
  Eve Hill, Director, D.C. Office of Disability Rights and Brett Roullier, D.C. Department of
  Transportation

  Eve Hill and Brett Roullier will discus pedestrian issues for persons with disabilities near the new
  National’s ballpark and efforts underway to make improvements.
