Today’s lifestyle is so full of pressure that people have been pushed to
their limits. With the pressure of keeping up with the fast-paced changes
in the world today, a lot are now suffering from illnesses both physical
and psychological. Panic attacks and other psychological problems are
now very common among a lot of people as we all know humans have
certain fight and flight responses. A certain balance has to be maintained
for it to be normal. When this balance tips off, it becomes abnormal.

When there is an existing threat,
that’s the time when the body
                                     activates its flight responses. Yet
there may be instances when these
                                     symptoms are exhibited even if
uncalled for. When this happens, it
means there has to be some
                                     problem. People who have panic
                                     attacks experience the usual flight
responses. But the lack of cause for
that kind of response makes it
abnormal. It can hit you any time
                                     and anywhere. It can be
                                     experienced while walking down
the street or taking the subway.

Flight responses normally occur only in cases of impending danger. But
those who have panic disorder experience it without any particular
reason. It usually includes symptoms like rapid heartbeat, stomach
cramps, cold sweats, etc.

Even if the situation is not threatening, people with panic disorder would
still experience these symptoms. Most people would experience these
symptoms at least once in their lifetime. This is especially true for
women who undergo a lot of hormonal changes throughout their
lifetime.

                           Women who are undergoing menopause
have hormonal upsurges that may cause them
to experience anxiety and panic at certain
times. Some disorders are also due to phobias
                           and other negative experiences. Regardless
of the cause it is still necessary to address the
problem early. If left untreated it may start to
impair one’s own normal functioning. This
disorder might stop you from pushing
through with your daily tasks in life. Getting
early treatment is the best solution. There are
various options for panic attacks treatment. It
                           includes medication and various therapy
sessions that would surely help you out.
