Badi School Syllabus II Trimonthly Period 8th Graders Prof. Milagros Luna Objectives: By the end of the Trimonthly Period, the students will be able to: - Build affirmative, negative, and interrogative sentences at ease. - Have a short fluent conversation in English - Create a brainstorming and an outline to begin building a paragraph based on the phrases of the outline. - Have a clearer listening skill. Topics: Review Unit 3: Modal Auxiliaries (Simple Present Tense) Pages: 65-71 Unit 4: Ecology and Conservation Grammar: Auxiliary Do/Does Contractions Short Answers Unit 5: Holidays and Tourism Grammar: Adverbs of Frequency EXTRA TOPICS: -Characteristics of a Paragraph -Useful Expressions and Idioms Note: The majority of the grades in this course will be based on the student’s oral performance in the class. Attendance, discipline, responsibility, and the application of the knowledge obtained from each of the units. The date of tests, homework, presentations or written assignments will be announced ON TIME. The book and dictionary are also part of everyday evaluation.
