Research Experience
Reseach Assistant for GridChem group at NCSA UIUC for Fall 05 semester
Two years of work experience as a Research Engineer along with very experienced
and renowned faculty at Dept. of Aerospace Engineering, IIT Bombay and conducted
research on Aerodynamics, Propulsion and Design aspects of different MAV
configurations.
Developed programs and softwares for aerodynamics analysis, mission analysis and
propeller characterization of MAVs
Designed experimental rigs and setups for wind tunnel testing of flapping wings,
propellers, IC engines, electric motors etc.
As a part of team, designed and developed low speed wind tunnel at CASDE for
aerodynamic and propulsive characterization of MAVs.
Computational Skills
Well conversant with programming in C, FORTRAN, HTML, Perl, CGI,
Javascript and Java 2.0
Well familiar with Microsoft Office Tools like Microsoft Word, Power Point,
Excell, Access, PDF Editor
Expert with photo editing tools like Adobe Photshop and web designing tools like
Front Page Express, Dreamweaver
Conversant with Engineering application tools like MATLAB-6, Auto-Cad 2002,
Lab-VIEW-6, AAA-2.3 (Advanced Aircraft Analysis), Fluent.
Very well familiar with operating platforms Windows- XP and previous versions,

Teaching Experience
Supervised experimental work on MAV wind-tunnel Facility, IIT Bombay.
Guided undergraduate summer training students for their project work.

Responsibilities Held/Interests
Worked with students at supervisory position in various Technical festivals and
Cultural Festivals at IIT Kanpur from 1999 to 2003
Representative of student’s 99’ batch for 99-2000 year at IIT Kanpur.
Senator (elected representative) in the Students Gymkhana (elected Student’s
Council) for the year at IIT Kanpur for two that is 1999 and 2002
Secretary of Students Book Club in 2000-01 year and Photography Club in 2001
to 2002 at IIT Kanpur.
Regularly participate and win prizes in Plays and dramatics related events.
Creative at designing and conceptualizing brochures and leaflets of organizations,
clubs and seminars using tools like Adobe Photoshop-6, Corel Draw-10 and
Microsoft Photo Draw etc.

Endowment awards for abroad studies.
3. Recipient of MCM scholarship from 1999 till 2003 at IIT Kanpur.
4. Rank holder in state merit list in SSC-96, 10th grade exam (Top 0.05 %) and HSSC-
98, 12th grade exam (Top 0.1%). Scored 97% in science subjects (Physics, Chemistry
and Mathematics) in HSSC-98 (Top 0.05%).
