ADORACIÓN DEL SAGRADO SACRAMENTO

Regresará los Viernes comenzando el 1º de

CALENDARIOS CONMEMORATIVOS DEL 2008 DEL
SAGRADO CORAZÓN – estarán en venta después de todas las
misas y en la oficina de la parroquia. Los calendarios mostrarán
muchas fotografías de feligreses e iglesia.
Por favor recuerde en su oraciones a: Ryan Youngman
feligrés de nuestra parroquia de 12 años que está padeciendo cáncer;
Mary Nicola tambien feligrés de la tercera edad quien está muy
enferma y tambien oremos por todos nuestros feligreses que están
enfermos.
LA CUARESMA comienza el Miercoles 6
de Febrero y la Pascual es el Domingo 23 de
Marzo. Se publicaran proximamente los
servicios de oracion y Misas. Por lo pronto,
preparese para participar nuevamente en la
Operación Plato de Arroz. El Sagrado
Corazon se ha destacado en este programa de Cuaresma por los
pasados años a beneficio de los Servicios de Ayuda Catolica. Tambien
por favor anoten en su calendario el Lunes 10 de Marzo para servicio
de Confesiones.
¿Qué es la misa?
Una explicación cortita y comprensible de la Misa.
La Santa Misa es la celebración dentro de la cual se lleva a cabo el
sacramento de la Eucaristía.
Su origen se remonta a los primeros tiempos de la Iglesia, en donde los
apóstoles y los primeros discípulos se reunían el primer día de la semana,
recordando la Resurrección de Cristo, para estudiar las Escrituras y
compartir el pan de la Eucaristía.
En la Misa nos reunimos para celebrar recordando y viviendo la Última
Cena y el sacrificio de Jesús en la cruz. Nosotros debemos escuchar con
atención lo que Dios nos quiere decir cada domingo en la Misa.
En ésta podemos participar en Jesucristo de la siguiente manera: podemos
ofrecer a Dios nuestra vida, nuestras obras, pedir perdón por nuestros
pecados y unimos a Jesús por medio de la Comunión.
En la Misa va a suceder un milagro: Dios se va a hacer presente y se va a
quedar con nosotros.
El nombre de “Misa” se debe a que al terminar la celebración, el
sacerdote nos dice que vayamos a cumplir con la “misión” de ser testigos
de Cristo ante los hombres.
¿Cómo debemos vivir la Misa?
En la Misa debemos poner atención durante las lecturas y la homilía;
devoción y adoración durante la consagración; y disposición a cumplir la
voluntad de Dios durante el Ofertorio y la comunión.
¿Qué posturas debemos tener en la Misa?
En la Misa tenemos tres posturas diferentes: sentados, de pie y de rodillas.
Cuando estamos sentados estamos en actitud de escuchar con atención,
como lo hacían los amigos de Jesús. Cuando estamos de pie estamos en
actitud de estar listos y disponibles para la llamada de Dios. Cuando
estamos de rodillas estamos en actitud de adoración a nuestro Dios y
Salvador.
Cuando vivimos la Misa correctamente obtenemos varios frutos:
Entendemos la palabra de Dios, crecemos en nuestra fe para reconocer a
Jesús, nos llenamos de alegría y paz interior; tenemos a Jesús presente en
nuestra alma y las fuerzas necesarias para cumplir con nuestra misión.
La Misa es una cita con la persona que más amo y el que más me ama.
