WILLIAMSON COUNTY NEWCOMERS CLUB
Enter as Strangers – Leave as Friends
I hope everyone who attended the February General Luncheon Meeting had a wonderful
time and made new friendships. I was thinking about you that day since I was not able to
attend. Don't tell anyone but I am vacationing in Florida for the month soaking in the
sun, warmth and relaxation.
At the upcoming March meeting I will be announcing the nominations for the executive
board for 2012-2013. I would like to say a big thank you to the nominating committee,
Arlyne Euler, Judy Jenkins and Evelyn Spencer. We have been working very hard trying
to secure members to be an officer for next year. We are in dire need of a secretary.
WCNC is an awesome club but we need all of you to pull together and step up to keep
WCNC functioning. Everyone is given opportunities to enjoy the monthly meetings and
activities throughout the year but everyone needs to pitch in and help fill the board
positions and activity chairs. Please think how you can do your part to contribute to this
club. If you feel you can perform the secretary duties, please contact myself or one of
the nominating committee.
I will be looking forward to seeing everyone at the March meeting. Don't forget to make
Sharon Buxton, President
