to include in the time capsule include a video of the campus, current trends, a recent

good contact as he was Bud Ramsay’s Economic History instructor at Harford Junior

C. 2007 Wine Event
1. Volunteers Needed & Responsibilities: Donna Youngberg will coordinate
volunteers along with a subcommittee consisting of Bud Ramsay, Ann Ramsay
and Joan Haggerty, with Joanne Bowen as ex officio.
2. Overall Planning: Glasses have been ordered with 50th Anniversary logo on
one side and the A&F name on reverse. Trays have arrived. Mary has
requested a list of vendors from Jay Gernand so that we may bill them up-front
for the table fee. Heather advised that there is one wine vendor – Henry Wine
Group – that has not paid $454 from last year ($383 for wine and $70 in table
fees). Copies of invoice and correspondence will be provided to Kathy Konrad
and Mary Leavens who will share this information with Jay Gernand. Sponsor
letters are ready to be sent out today and Bud Ramsay will follow-up in early
January with a phone call or visit. Brenda Blackburn will contact Jay Gernand
regarding ticket sales and vendor list. Bud Ramsay will coordinate silent
auction with Mary Leavens assistance. Jay may have several items already.
Kim is applying for the silent auction license. Kathy Konrad will be the “will
call” contact at the Wine Expo. A special wine tasting will be held in the
sponsor seating area with a special entrance but we must mark tickets as
sponsor tickets before sending them out. The liquor license has already been
applied for and we are awaiting a quote on cancellation insurance. New
Foundation Board member, Barry Bomboy, will provide a chocolate fountain
with 25-35lbs of chocolate for the event. Bud Ramsay will follow-up with
Dick Molinaro from WSMT Insurance for sponsorship.
