           o    Bismarck Zoo & Park Cleanup Day-Please bring appropriate clothing for working outside

           o    All students will be taking their Event Specific Written Test on Sunday afternoon unless
                otherwise noted in the contest updates.
           o    If your written test is part of your event plan on taking a PDP SkillsUSA knowledge test

Architectural Drafting - See Skills-USA Championship Technical Standards
       Needs
              Clothing, clean, no offensive advertising, jeans are allowed
              Laptop computer with licensed software loaded. The technical committee will NOT
                      provide computers OR software.
              There will be NO manual drafting for the contest.
              Students need to be able to save their work to a PDF file.

CNC Milling Technology - SkillsUSA Knowledge Test

All competitors must attend an orientation on Sunday night. Contestants are required to wear
safety glasses at all times while in the Machine Tool Lab. Contestants are to wear
appropriate shop clothing and footwear; no shorts, sweats, any loose fitting clothes, or tennis
shoes.

Contestants Must Provide:

       a.   Safety Glasses
       b.   File
       c.   0-1 Micrometer
       d.   0-2 Micrometer
       e.   0-3 Micrometer
       f.   6” Dial or Digital Caliper
       g.   6” Scale
       h.   Thread Wires, Pitch Gage, and Center Gage
       i.   Depth Micrometer Set
       j.   Scribe
       k.   Edgefinder
       l.   Parallels
       m.   Calculator
       n.   Trig Book
       o.   Shop Reference or Machinery’s Handbook

Competitors are expected to provide all supplies appropriate to their preferred art medium. Supplies
are limited to:
• Pencils

• Ruler
• Instruments used for drawing arcs, angles and curves (For example: T-square, protractor)
• Ink pens
• Colored markers or colored pencils
• Erasers
• Charcoal and pastels
• Pencil sharpener.

 No pre-constructed props or artwork are to be brought to the site of event.
