       The Naval Inventory Control Point (NAVICP) and the Fleet Numerical Meteorology and Oceanography
       Center (FNMOC) are requesting a quote for REFURBISHED SGI spare parts. This acquisition is being
       conducted in accordance with the provisions of FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This is a
       BRAND NAME requirement; anything other than brand name specific for the identified parts will not be
       considered acceptable.
       The vendor is required to be an AUTHORIZED SGI Federal reseller and provide proof of authorization;
       reseller status will be confirmed with SGI. In accordance with SGI spare part warranty provisions,
       purchased spare parts are covered by a 90-day repair/replace warranty starting from the date of
       shipment. Spare parts which are exchanged for customers who do not have a service agreement will be
       covered for 30 days from the time the exchange or replacement part is shipped.
       The NAICS Code associated with this purchase is 334111, Electronic Computer Manufacturing. Please
       provide an open market quote and all pertinent information needed to issue an order.
       Vendors must quote all items to be considered for award. QUOTES MUST BE VALID FOR 30 DAYS. A firm
       fixed price purchase order will be issued based on the lowest priced technically acceptable quote.
       Vendors should provide “Remit To” address, if applicable.
