Of all the blessings which God gave
Adam, the greatest blessing was the
home. You might say it is the only piece
of paradise left here on earth.

Sadly, man has a hard time remembering
this fact about marriage.
  Consider the example of the Israelites.

In our society, it seems that, as a whole,
man still does not appreciate the
greatness of the marriage relationship. As
a result, many marriages are full of sin and
are on the verge of total destruction.
It is the purpose of this lesson to show the
rules and guidelines for the marriage
relationship. We will also show how sin
can enter into this God ordained
relationship.

No honor for the husband.
  If the wife does not respect or hold in
  reverence her husband, then she is guilty of
  sin.
  This lack of respect will also affect the wife's
  submissiveness to her husband. It will
  determine whether or not she follows or
  obeys her husband.
  If the wife is not obeying her husband, then
  she is not obeying the Lord. If the wife obeys

  Lord loved the church, then he is guilty of sin.

  No love for the husband. If the wife does not
  love her husband, then she is guilty of sin.
  No love for the wife. If the husband does not
  love his wife, then he is guilty of sin.

together.
  Separating does not solve the problem.
    Some people abuse 1 Cor 7:10-11, saying
    that Paul gives permission for a husband
    and wife to live apart as long as they do
    not marry another person.

  Sleeping in two different beds do not solve
  problems. It can cause the same temptations
  referred to earlier.
  Running home to mommy and daddy does
  not solve problems.

nurture of the Lord.

  Mothers are told to love their children. Titus
  2:3-5 If you do not help to raise your child in
  the nurture of the Lord, then can you say that
  you truly love your child?

  Fathers are told to raise up their child in the
  nurture and admonition of the Lord. Eph 6:4
  Fathers, if you are not doing your part in
  raising up your children in the Lord, then you

  there is no honor for the husband.

  there is no love in the home.

  the children are not raised in the nurture of the
  Lord.
                  Conclusion

While marriages can be wonderful, there are
times when troubles will arise. Husbands
and wives must work to make certain that
the hard times are neither caused by sin nor
lead to sin.
