									 PKS MENDAPAT MANFAAT DARIPADA PERJANJIAN
MoU DI ANTARA SME CORP. MALAYSIA & EXIM BANK
SME Corp. Malaysia dan EXIM Bank telah menandatangani satu
Memorandum Persefahaman (MoU) pada 14 Oktober 2011 di KL
Sentral Park. MoU ini telah disaksikan oleh Y.B. Dato„
Mukhriz Mahathir, Timbalan Menteri Perdagangan Antarabangsa

Y.B. Dato„ Mukhriz Mahathir turut menyaksikan majlis menandatangani
perjanjian di antara EXIM Bank dengan Syarikat Mir Valve Sdn. Bhd. dan
Syarikat TT Vision Technologies Sdn. Bhd.
Malaysia.
SMEs TO BENEFIT FROM MoU SIGNING BETWEEN
SME CORP. MALAYSIA & EXIM BANK

SME Corp. Malaysia and EXIM Bank signed a Memorandum
of Understanding (MoU) on 14 October 2011 at KL Sentral
Park. The MoU was witnessed by Y.B. Dato‟ Mukhriz
Mahathir, Deputy Minister of International Trade and
                                                        Industry.

The objective of the MoU is to facilitate information sharing
for SMEs by strengthening and supporting them to ensure
that they are export market ready. The MoU will establish a
mutually beneficial relationship between SME Corp.
Malaysia and EXIM Bank as it identifies the fields of mutual
interest by both parties and supports the creation of
opportunities for SMEs in specially developed programmes
such as training, information, research and development
                                                        (R&D) and other knowledge-based activities.

Another area that can be explored from the outcome of this MoU is the abundant business matching opportunities that
can be developed between the clients of both organizations. This would broaden their access to unexplored markets
through new business ventures and further encourage collaboration both locally and overseas.

EXIM Bank‟s recent collaboration with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to provide guarantee for SMEs under banks
accredited by ADB has widened its market outreach and business portfolio.

Y.B. Dato‟ Mukhriz Mahathir also witnessed the Facility Agreement between EXIM Bank with Mir Valve Sdn. Bhd. and
TT Vision Technologies Sdn. Bhd. during the MoU session. Both companies have successfully undergone the SME
Competitiveness Rating for Enhancement (SCORE) Programme developed by SME Corp. Malaysia.

             MALAYSIA PENDAHULU 10M SEMI-ANECHOIC CHAMBER

                   MALAYSIA’S FIRST 10M SEMI-ANECHOIC CHAMBER

The Penang Skills Development Centre (PSDC) has grown since its inception in 1989 from a 5,000 sq. ft. facility into a
230,000 sq. ft. world-class organization. It is poised for further physical growth in 2010 with the set up of its new
Shared Services Centre, which will house Malaysia‟s largest Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Lab. The Shared
Services Centre will also comprise of a Radio Frequency & Wireless Technology Lab and an Embedded Systems Lab
to enable product testing and development.

Training programs aimed at „fast-tracking‟ the work readiness of university graduates will be conducted in partnership
with member companies to bridge the competency gap of our graduates and needs of the industry, while PSDC
diploma programs will provide its students with an education pathway that will connect them into the industry upon
graduation.

The Shared Services Centre will also enable greater collaboration between the industry and academia. These
facilities are essential for the industry to develop market accessible prototypes as most organizations are faced with a
setback of high investment outlay followed by a low utilization rate after the initial implementation. The centre will help
build a bridge between PSDC and the industry players. It is also an excellent platform for PSDC to continue
developing and sustaining the relevant talent pool for the country as it encourages the sharing of facilities technology
and know-how amongst one industry players themselves.
