CLASSIFIED OBITUARY

COCHRAN, Mrs. Barbara A. Age 52, died Saturday, August 24,
1996 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will
be held 12 Noon Thursday, August 29, 1996 at Bethlehem
Temple Church of the Apostolic Faith, District Elder Jerry T.
Lewis officiating. Burial in River Rest Cemetery. Mrs. Cochran
will repose from the Chapel of Swanson Funeral Home after 12
Noon today, and until 9AM Thursday, after which she will be
taken to the church where the family will receive friends at
11AM, one hour prior to funeral services. Mrs. Cochran was
born in Columbus, Ohio on May 18, 1944, the daughter of Arty
and Virginia Lee (Maggy) Howell. She was united in marriage to
Ransom Cochran, Jr. on September 11, 1965. She attended
various churches seeking the Lord and in 1994 she was born
again at Christ Temple Apostolic Church in San Diego, CA. She
attended Flint Public Schools, graduating from Flint Central
High School in 1963 and attended Mott Community College.
Mrs. Cochran was a devoted homemaker. She leaves to cherish
sweet memories, her loving husband of 31 years, Mr. Ransom
Cochran, Jr.; treasured children, Mrs. Stephanie (Robert)
Bolden of San Diego, CA, Mr. Michael (Linda) Cochran, Mr.
Jeffery Cochran, Mr. Kenneth (Cheryl) Cochran, Mr. Ransom D.
Cochran III, Mr. Randy Cochran, Mr. Solomon Cochran, all of
Flint; devoted siblings, Ms. Dorothy White, Ms. Peggy Reeves,
Mr. Arty Howell, Jr., Mr. Duane (Ethel) Howell, Mr. Walter
Howell, Mrs. Mary Anne (Clarence) Boulden; 6 grandchildren,
Malisa Cochran, LaToya Bolden, Michael Cochran II, Michele
Cochran, Shari Cochran, Micaiah Cochran; mother-in-law, Mrs.
Azeli Cochran of Flint; nieces, nephews, other relatives and
friends. Mrs. Cochran was preceded in death by her mother,
Mrs. Virginia Lee Howell and uncle, Ernest Howell. SWANSON
