Users download media from MS Downloads 90 day license keys are posted on the MS Download web site.

Where license key is obtained:

Users download media from MSDN Subscriber Downlo ads only, and obtain license key from the site. A product key button on the site will take them to their list of product keys. That page will list the CRM Workgroup Professional & Enterprise keys.

Partners will download from MSDN download site. SBE /Pro 3.0 Certified Partners will receive CRM 4.0 Pro. SBE/Pro 3.0 Gold Partners will receive CRM 4.0 Enterprise. The license keys will ship in the physical media kits. Existing partners received their license key on a card inserted in their January 2008 program toolkit, and new partners, will receive their key in the MSPP Welcome kit.

The license key will be on a Yellow Sticker on the DVD. Media is shipped to MAPs Customers in Quarterly subscription kits.

The license key is embedded in the Media. (It is not printed on the media or a sticker on the media, and is not available on MVLS as a VLK) Media is ordered /downloaded through eOpen for Open, and direct through MVLS (VLSC) as download for all other (physical media still made available for purchase via enrollment)

The Partner/ Customer will obtain the license key(s) in VOICE. English media only, all other languages available in Download only. NOTE: There will be a workaround in place through approximately May 2008, where License Key will be on a note attached to the Partner Invoice.
