Nixon Peabody builds its East Coast aviation practice
Nixon Peabody LLP is pleased to announce the latest complement to its nationwide
Aviation Practice Group: the addition of Ray Mariani as an East Coast partner, based in
New York. Ray brings his own broad aviation experience to the group, including extensive
litigation experience throughout the East Coast and national representation of several clients
throughout the U.S. He joins the many other highly experienced aviation attorneys on the
Nixon Peabody team, which has been representing all aspects of the aviation industry for
over forty years. Like most of the partners on the team, Ray brings more than 20 years of
experience to our aviation clientele.

Ray has spent over two decades practicing all aspects of aviation law. He has litigated cases
for the most prominent companies in the industry, on instructions from foreign and
domestic companies and insurers. Ray has defended cases involving engines, fixed-wing and
rotorcraft, and various components. He has represented airports and airlines on all aspects
of property and bodily injury claims. Ray has also litigated cases involving various ground
operations, such as fueling, security, and towing. He has been selected to coordinate national
accounts for certain companies, including litigating trials and appeals around the U.S.

Nixon Peabody offers a full range of legal services to the aviation community that is
