Moms:)
Are you a mom that has a baby, child, or maternity related items, to sell to other moms?
Consider exhibiting at one of West Michigan’s best Mom to Mom Sale. Our demographic is
primarily women with young children (ages 0-12). The event is located at the convenient
location at Sherman Bowling Center’s newly renovated Platinum Room, Muskegon.
Benefits of Selling at the Lakeshore’s Mom Sale
•Quantity of shoppers. When was the last time you had exposure to over 300 moms in 1 day?
•No need to advertise. We use radio, newspaper, magazine, poster, and Internet to advertise
this sale for you.
•You will never get rained out. All of our sales are held indoors.
•Make more money. As a seller you keep 100% of whatever you make.
•Pre-shop the sale. You have the opportunity to shop before the doors open to the public.
What's Not Allowed
•You may not sell anything that is consumable (i.e. food, beverage, or formula, etc.).
•You may not sell clothing above a child’s size 16, unless they are maternity clothes.
•You may not bring any additional tables, unless you have rented more than one booth space.
Important Information
•Doors will be open the Friday before the sale from 9am-8pm for set-up. No pre-shopping will
be allowed during this time so that sellers may quickly set-up their tables.
•Doors will open at 7:30am Saturday morning for additional set-up and pre-shopping.
•You are responsible for the unloading and loading of your vehicle.
•You must arrive and register before 8 am the day of the sale. Sellers who arrive after 8 am will
not be allowed to sell and they will not receive a refund.
Large Item Area available for addition cost. Refer to registration for pricing.
•Please bring a friend, so you may shop, take a break for lunch, and use the restroom without
leaving your table unattended.
•You are responsible for all of the transactions made at your table, so please bring plenty of
cash for change.
•Bring enough bags for your customers.
•Be prepared for shoppers looking for a bargain. If you are not willing to barter, make a sign for
your table stating this.
•You must stay for the entire sale! Our shoppers are expecting a certain number of sellers, and
if sellers leave early it not only makes you look bad, it makes us look bad too.
•After the sale, a local nonprofit re-sale store will be accepting donations of unsold items.
New Consumer Product Safety Regulations
Please be aware of the new Consumer Product Safety Regulations recently enacted by
Congress. These new regulations do not require our sellers to certify their used items are lead
compliant, however the Consumer Product Safety Commission does encourage all shoppers of
resale items to be especially cautious of recalled children’s products, particularly cribs and play
yards; children’s products that may contain lead paint; toys that are flimsy or may easily be
broken into small parts; toys that lack the required age warnings; and dolls and stuffed toys
that have buttons or other small parts that are not securely fastened and could present a
choking hazard for young children. We would encourage you to check the list of current recalls
for any items you may be shopping for at this sale. Lakeshore’s Mom to Mom Expo and our
corporate partners are not responsible for any items sold or purchased at this sale.
