Geometry at Home
Over the weekend, measure the lengths of items found in your house.
You can measure dimensions of rooms, lengths of shelves, pieces of
furniture, and so on. List what degree of measurement seems most
appropriate for each object using the customary and metric system of
measurement. For example, if you measure your kitchen table, feet and
meters would be appropriate units of measure. Then list the length of
your kitchen table in feet and in meters. Refer to the grading rubric
below for further information.
