					Dear Parent and Field Hockey Camper:

We’re getting geared up for a great camp July 27 – 30th and are excited that you will be joining
us. This letter contains some important information regarding camp and your stay on campus.
Please read it very carefully and if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to call me.

REGISTRATION: Registration will be held from 10:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, July
27 at McVinney Hall. If there is any outstanding balance, it will be collected at this time along
with any outstanding paperwork.


a.     Linens: sheets or sleeping bag, pillow, pillow case, towels, blanket (may also want to
       consider bringing a fan)

b.     Clothing: sneakers, socks, shorts, t-shirts/tank tops, bathing suit, jacket, sweats, rain
       gear, other clothes as desired.

c.     Equipment: stick, shinguards, mouthguard, water bottle, turf shoes (or cross-training
       ** NO CLEATS allowed on turf

d.     Other: Sunscreen, bug repellent

** Please keep all jewelry and valuables at home.
** The camp will not be responsible for any articles that are broken, lost, stolen or misplaced.

MEALS: All meals will be served in the fully air-conditioned college dining hall (Raymond
Hall) located near the turf and dorm. The first meal that will be served will be DINNER on
Sunday, July 27th. The last meal that will be served will be LUNCH on Wednesday, July 30th.

HOUSING: All campers will also be housed in McVinney Hall. (Please see attached map.)
Campers will be supervised.

CAMP STORE: A modest camp store will be available. Drinks, snacks, limited apparel, and
miscellaneous items will be for sale.
COMMUTERS: All commuters will be required to check in at the dorm each morning and
check out at the field each evening. We will be requesting a list of names of people who are
permitted to pick up each camper. There will be an area in the dorm for commuters to rest
between sessions. Lunch and Diner will be provided for all commuters.

VISITORS: Visitors are always welcome to come and watch play. A general schedule is
enclosed. Please note that this schedule is subject to change. Certain visitation restrictions will
apply in the dorm.

MAIL: Mail will reach campers if you address the letter or card to:

SUPERVISION: Directors, Coaches, Counselors and Resident Hall Directors will supervise
campers. Any serious violations of camp rules will be cause for dismissal. Parents will be
notified immediately.


a.     An athletic trainer will be on duty and a physician will be accessible.

b.     If you did not fill out the medical information sheet, with a parent’s signature, we will be
       asking you to complete that at check in on Sunday. Campers will not be permitted to
       participate without this completed information.

c.     Please make us aware of any physical or psychological problems that your daughter may
       have prior to camp so that we may make appropriate accommodations.

DEPARTURE: Camp will end on Wednesday, July 30th. Campers will be free to leave
following the afternoon session, which ends at 4:00.
