Diane Knust, LISW, is the instructor for this course. As a lecturer for the University of Minnesota, she has
developed courses and curriculum on the topic of domestic violence. Currently, Diane works for the
Hennepin County Medical Center HIV Program part-time, creating and coordinating patient database
development. She also is a field liaison for the SSW for the 200/2001 school year. In her previous position
as a case management program manager for the Minnesota Aids Project, Diane worked to assure the
provision of quality case management services to over 400 persons living with HIV/AIDS. Diane has
presented at the NASW and other conferences on topics related to “deinstitutionalizing homelessness” and
HIV case management.
