Dear Parent/Guardian,

It is time to register your child(ren) for 2010-2011 Religious Education Program. For your
convenience we have made registration forms available on our website. Please make sure
that all forms are fully completed. NO forms will be accepted at registration with missing
data and they must be signed by parent or guardian. Please make sure all sacramental
information is included where applicable. All forms must have the parish registration number
found on the weekly tithing envelopes. In an effort to go “green” we have used e-mail this
year for reminders, schedule changes or date additions, parish events, etc. Please include
your e-mail address on your registration form. A copy of your child’s baptismal certificate is
required for those in grades 2 and 8. Please note that 2 nd and 8th graders register on
separate registration forms, all sacramental fees are included in the registration fee for
sacramental grades.

All registrations must be made in person by a parent or a family friend – no registration
forms will be accepted by mail at this time.

We will continue our policy of providing family-friendly scheduling, so that it is possible for a
parent with children in several grades to schedule classes, so that all children in the family
can come at the same time. With the growing numbers of families joining our program each
year scheduling two or more on a particular day does sometime become problematic. May I
suggest you register as soon as possible because our classes are filled on a first come, first
serve basis. If you have a family situation, financial or otherwise, that you need help with
please contact me and I will certainly do whatever I can to help out.

The parish has always subsidized the cost of the Religious Education Program generously
from the parish general operating funds. In an effort to do our part with the increase heating,
lighting and maintenance of the school building we have increased our fund raising efforts
this past year and are very grateful for all your help and support. We will continue with our
fundraising efforts and hope that you will join the many that help to make our program an
outstanding one.

We will be in need of a few catechists to teach this upcoming school year. If you are
interested in teaching, please call the office. Incentives for our faculty are offered.
