                                 SECOND HAND UNIFORM POLICY

The following second hand items only are sold on commission through the Uniform Shop:

               Blazers                         Jumper/Vests
               Preschool tracksuits            Sports tracksuits
               Sport Polo shirt                Sport shorts & swim shorts
               Boys grey shorts / trousers     Girls Winter tunics and skirts
               Boys formal hats                Girls summer dresses
                                Girls Panama hats

The Uniform Shop will take a commission of one third of the selling price. The selling price
is determined by the Uniform Shop and reflects a number of factors including, but not
limited to age, condition of garment, current retail prices etc.
ALL other items of school uniform will be sold on “donation to the uniform shop” basis only.

School Bags, homework folders, bike pants, swimming costumes, socks,
sun hats, old style uniform will NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR SALE.
 Please securely pin a note to EACH ITEM to be sold on commission stating the following
 information:
        YOUR NAME, ADDRESS, TELEPHONE NUMBER, CHILD’S NAME AND CLASS.

 Items not individually identified as above are taken as a donation.
                   Please note it can take several months before an item may be sold.

All clothing must be in good, CLEAN condition. Stained, soiled, torn, faded or “old style”
clothing cannot be sold by the uniform shop. Nametapes must be removed, names written
in marker pen must be blacked out. Blazers MUST BE DRYCLEANED, and presented on the
hanger in the cleaners bag with the cleaning tags attached. Items not properly presented
will not be sold. Any second hand items deemed unsuitable for sale will be disposed of at
the discretion of the Uniform Shop. If you would prefer items deemed unsaleable returned
to you, this instruction must be clearly stated on a note pinned to the item.

Second hand clothing can be delivered to the Uniform Shop on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings
between 8.00am and 10.00am or Thursdays between 8.00am and 11.00am, 2.30pm and 4.00pm.
It is best to hand in second hand items as soon as you have finished with them so they can be processed
for sale in a timely manner.

When PURCHASING Second hand clothing, please check each item carefully as they cannot
be returned for a refund though items may be resold on your behalf.
