Thank-you for your interest in the post of Director of Islington Boat Club.

The information pack includes some brief background information on the Islington Boat Club, the Job
Specification and Purpose of the Job, Accountabilities and Responsibilities, and Person Specification.

PLEASE NOTE : INTERVIEWS WILL TAKE PLACE ON THURSDAY 19TH FEBRUARY (not 17th as stated
in the Guardian printed advert)

Application process.

1. If you wish to apply, please submit your curriculum vitae and a supporting statement.

2. The CV should provide details on your education, employment and training. Details of two referees should be
provided one of which must be your current or most recent employer. References will not be taken up prior to
interview without permission.

3. A supporting statement of no more than three sides of A4 should explain why you are interested in the
position and the Club and how you meet the specific requirements in the enclosed Person Specification.

4. The CV and the supporting statement should be sent by email to:

6. Short-listing takes place on Friday 13th February 2009.

7. Interviews will be held on Thursday 19th February 2009.

8. Applicants called for interview will be asked to provide a short presentation on a subject to be notified.
   If selected for interview, you will be asked to provide evidence of qualifications achieved.

9. Women and people from BME backgrounds are under-represented in our staff team and people from
   these groups are strongly encouraged to apply.
