                                     1. Introduction

•   Goal of the project: verify that the results of spectral parameters analysis
    do not depend on the extraction region.

•   If there is pile-up: extraction of the core. But... which is the impact?? what
    are the consequences??

                                         Method:

•   Selection of a circular region and extract
    spectrum from all different annuli

•   Spectral fitting for all the individual spectrum

•   Compare results for different annuli within

               •(a) full band

               •(b) narrow bands

•   Connection to XCAL archive:

                   •source and background region

                   •model for fitting the spectra.
