Abstract Prior researches about Islamic work ethic related to the attitude toward organizational change stated that the Islamic work ethic have a direct impact and positively in many dimensions of attitude toward organizational change and organizational commitment. The research objective are to examine (1) the impact between Islamic work ethic to the attitude toward organizational change, (2) the role of job involvement as a mediated variable between Islamic work ethic to the attitude toward organizational change (3) the role of organizational commitment as a mediated variable between Islamic work ethic to the attitude toward organizational change. The research have contributed to behavioral accounting theory’s development. The collected questionnaires gathering by mail and direct contact to the syariah banking and conventional banking with syariah unit staff as research samples. The hypothesized test used structural equation modeling with AMOS 5.0 program. Response rate indicated 26,68 % with 122 respondent. The result of this research rejected first hypothesized that Islamic work ethic have direct impact to attitude toward organizational change, another result were support second hypothesized that job involvement as mediated variable for the impact of Islamic work ethic have direct impact to attitude toward organizational change. The third hypothesized also supported that organizational commitment as mediated variable for the impact of Islamic work ethic have direct impact to attitude toward organizational change. The research limitation were quantity of respondent have scope only in one province so this result could not to generalized the result, another limitations were many of respondent characteristic as chief of division, maybe they reject attitude toward their organizational change.
