Lead Eastern Controls through Client Audit of Capabilities. Led company through quality audit process in
preparation for audit by one of the world’s largest chemical company’s looking to add a service vendor. Prepared
procedure documents, calibration records, and staff for what is the one of the most difficult certifications to obtain.
Company achieved certification on first attempt, resulting in the awarding of more than $3M in service contracts and
sales in first year.
Improving Inventory Management. Unique Indoor Comfort had no inventory system. Collaborated with service
department, classifying inventory by shelf, truck and install stock. Determined re-order levels, qualified vendors and
negotiated price and quality. Reduced costs, ensured availability, cut headcount and achieved 16 turns annually.
Developing Innovative Supply Chain Solution. Partnered with two distributors to develop first e-commerce
virtual warehouse. Customers visited web site, placed orders and generated purchase order. Item was shipped
using company carrier and containing Softmart packing slip. Reduced inventory $100M and decreased backorders.
Manager of Operations, Julius Silvert Inc 2011-present. Manage all aspects of warehouse (150K sq ft) and fleet
(21 refrigerated trucks) in a 24/7 environment catering to fine dining establishments in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Manager, Purchasing and Quality Assurance, Eastern Controls 2009-2011. Supervised purchasing, warehouse,
and quality departments for Manufactures Rep Group in the Process Controls Industry
Manager, Purchasing and Warehousing, Unique Indoor Comfort, 2004 to 2008. Led purchasing for all company
inventories. Managed sheet metal production shop, job costing, and bid preparation. Hired sub contractors and
managed 22 and $6M budget.
Project Manager, Spar International, 2002 to 2004. Directed construction and renovation projects for CVS
Pharmacy. Supervised Union and Non-Union carpenters and electricians. Managed CVS operations and Spar
Merchandisers. Led 20 employees.
Director, Distribution and Facilities, Softmart, 1998 to 2001. Managed 475,000 sq ft facility, including service
contracts, security, and housekeeping. Directed multi-shift distribution center processing 3000 packages daily.

stores with 25,000 sku's. Negotiated terms and set margins for products sourced nationally and internationally. Led
