Special Walk-in Immunization Clinic Scheduled for Incoming 7th Grade Students

To help parents prepare for 2012-2013 School Immunization Requirements, Southeastern
Idaho Public Health (SIPH) will be holding a special walk-in immunization clinic for incoming
7th graders on Tuesday, June 5th from 4:00-7:00pm at the Bear Lake Middle School, 633
Washington Street, in Montpelier.

Legally, in order to enter 7th grade, children are required to have 1 Tdap and 1
Meningococcal immunization, in addition to school entry requirements that are based on
when the child was born.

No child will be denied routine vaccinations based on the inability to pay. Parents are
requested to bring their child’s up-to-date immunization record and insurance cards and
coverage information with them to the clinics.

For more information on the walk- in clinic or immunization requirements, please call Bear
Lake Southeastern Idaho Public Health at 847-3000.

                                                           ###
