                                             WOMEN’S “CAREER SUCCESS GRADUATION”
                                                        Sunday, May 20, 2012 7am – 4 pm
                                      Los Amigos High School at 16566 Newhope Street, Fountain Valley 92708

    As a volunteer, you will have a unique opportunity to help women who have overcome great challenges through their journey to self-sufficiency.
           These women have completed our Career Success Workshop series and will be celebrating at our “Career Success Graduation,”
    (formerly known as our Women’s Day of Self-Esteem.) At this event, you will be assigned to assist the women with wardrobe selection, personal
            grooming or support services. Our exciting Finale and Fashion Show will have you bursting with emotions. It’s a must see event!

At this event, volunteers must be 15 years of age. Some volunteer assignments have age, experience, and gender requirements.
Personal Shoppers must have previous experience as Shoppers or Merchandisers. To effectively serve our guests, we reserve the right
to assign tasks as needed. Thank you for your understanding and support in making this day so special for our guests! Don’t forget to

    Event Sunday, May 20, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm $15 non-refundable registration fee must be submitted with this form at time of registration.
    **Please note that this modest registration fee will help cover the cost of food for the day and volunteer supplies.

♥♥All event volunteers are invited to volunteer a shift at our donation center, open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

MEDICAL RELEASE:                I hereby waive any and all rights we may have as a result of the activity in which the volunteer will be engaged and any injury which may
occur to the volunteer in connection therewith, against Working Wardrobes for a New Start and any of their officers, agents, or employees. In the event of a serious
emergency, illness, or injury requiring medical treatment, permission is hereby granted to Working Wardrobes for a New Start and its agents to obtain emergency
medical care and related services for the volunteer, as it deems necessary. The choice of physician(s), ambulance(s), or hospital(s) shall be at their sole discretion.
PHOTO RELEASE: I hereby authorize and give full consent to Working Wardrobes to copyright, or publish all photographs taken in which I appear for the
purpose of promoting the organization. I further agree that they may use, or cause to be used, these photographs for exhibition or advertising purposes, without

                          WOMEN’S CAREER SUCCESS GRADUATION

WHAT:           A life-transforming graduation day that celebrates women who have successfully completed our Career
                Success workshop series. Our event includes a variety of empowering complimentary services such as:

                       Motivational seminar
                       Personal grooming services (make-up, hair styling and neck massage)
                       Wardrobe selection
                       Career Fair
                       Fashion Show Finale

WHEN:           Sunday, May 20, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm

WHO:            125 female residents of 12 transitional living and recovery programs and vocational schools in Orange
                County, South Bay and Los Angeles.

WHY:            Adults who have overcome great challenges need a major boost to their self-esteem to feel more positive
                about the future. Planning for re-entry into the world of work poses real barriers to women who do not have
                the professional attire to make a good first impression in an interview. This “Career Success Graduation”
                provides services that will re-build self-esteem and develop confidence so that the ‘inside’ will match their
                professional outside. This day is all about their success!

HOW CAN I HELP? LOTS of ways!

       Host a clothing/accessory drive at your company, with your civic organization or in your neighborhood. Plus size
        women’s clothing is critically important; along with good quality shoes, purses, scarves, jewelry and belts. All items

        must be received no later than Friday, May 11 to support this event.

       Recruit your friends and associates to create lasting memories serving others!

       Organize a Volunteer Team to work at our donation center (Monday – Saturday 10 AM – 2 PM) to help sort, size and
        tag clothing.
