    Title: Alphabetic List of Infections and Precautions.

    Guideline # IC Alpha list

    Purpose: To identify appropriate Precautions/Isolation to take with infectious diseases.

    Guideline Statement:
    This index is in alphabetical order by name of infection/condition.
    It includes the type of precautions/isolation indicated. Standard Precautions should be
    taken with all patients in addition to any other precaution listed. If you need additional
    information about a disease and the appropriate precautions/isolation to use please call
    infection control ext. 3-3888 or page #97894
