Conversion from decimal number system to binary number system

More Info
CONVERSION FROM DECIMAL NUMBER SYSTEM TO
ANY OTHER NUMBER SYSTEM
Suppose, we have to convert 6.75, which is decimal number so written as (6.75)10, to the
binary number system.
Let’s work first on the number before the decimal ie. 6

Now, since the base of the binary number system is 2, we divide the 6 to be converted by 2

Now, since the quotient came 0 when dividing 1 by 2, it is time to stop the process.

So, now we have to collect the remainder from bottom to top in upward direction

Which is 110

Now, lets work on the number after the decimal ie. 75

Now, since the base of the binary number system is 2, we multiply 75 by 2

Now, since 0.0 came in the after decimal part when multiplying 0.5 with 2, it is time to stop
the process.

So, now we have to collect the product before-decimal part from top to bottom in downward
direction, which is 11.

Also, notice that 110.11 is the binary number that we set out to convert to decimal
number in
