(June 1, 2012, New York) Fox News Latino has recently reported Mexico’s telecom industry grew 11.9 percent
in the first quarter of 2012 compared to the same period last year mainly due to strong performance by the
satellite TV, mobile telephony and long distance segments, according to the Federal Telecommunications
Commission (Cofetel). Technological advancements have evolved the way we operate on a day-to-day basis in
this accelerated, changing business world. High frequency trading happens to be one of them.

Bolsa Mexicana de Valores, BMV, the Mexican Stock Exchange, the second largest exchange in Latin
American, recently launched a number of strategic and technology initiatives designed to promote foreign
investment in the Mexican financial markets and its position as a Latin American leader in high-frequency
trading.

Mr. Perez was a vice president at Citigroup, a senior consultant at IBM, and a consultant at McKinsey & Co. in New York
City. Mr. Perez has an undergraduate degree from Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería, Lima, Peru (1994), a Master of
Administration from Universidad ESAN, Lima, Peru (1997) and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia
Business School, New York, with a dual major in Finance and Management (2002). He belongs to the Beta Gamma
Sigma honor society. Mr. Perez resides in the New York City area and is an accomplished salsa and hustle dancer.
