Well, your credit score is a three digit number that will determine your credit worthiness to
dealers, bankers or creditors. You can find your credit score in your credit report along with your
credit history. The longer your history is the better. Creditors will want to find out how you pay
your bills or simple, how you manage your credit. All your bills, payments, missed payments or
other financial record will be seen in your credit report. All of these are calculated by the credit
agency with their secret formula. This will deter mine your credit score, which will be within 300-
850. The higher your score is the easier it will be for you to get approved on loan applications.

Your credit score will be the summary of your whole credit history, which is the reason why
creditors or dealers look for it from you. When you apply for a loan, creditors will do a credit
check whether you like it or not. Even hiring companies do this. It may sound harsh but yes,
they may judge you with your credit even you didn’t mean to have a low score. When you have
a healthy score, which is above 650 or so, creditors will see you as responsible and trustworthy.
While a low score will get them thinking that you are a risk and that you won’t be able to pay
them.

In order to have a good credit score, you must pay your bills on time and regularly, missing out
on payments will only get you marks on your credit report that will last for 7 years. You have to
be wary about errors and your credit report and you have to dispute them immediately to your
credit agency. You have to monitor or do a credit score check regularly in order to do this. You
can even subscribe to online monitoring services if you really want a peace of mind from credit
