CRESWELL DANCE ACADEMY

							Dear Parents of Creswell Dance Academy,

I’m proud to announce the details of our 2010 dance recital.
Please pay careful attention to all the details of your child’s dress rehearsal and show
dates listed below. It is very important that your child arrives on time, and attends the
dress rehearsal and show.


DRESS REHEARSAL - Sunday May 16th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm
(Please arrive with your child dress in their regular dance wear for the dress rehearsal)

SHOW DAY - Sunday May 30th Please drop your child off at 2:00pm.
The show starts at 3:00pm

I recommend your child bring a book, home work, or a game to play. All kids will be
supervised by a volunteer.*

COSTUMES- Your child will receive their costumes the day of the show. Please make
sure your child brings their dance shoes and tights.

After the show all Costumes-MUST BE RETURNED and HUNG BACK UP.
Please do not leave or throw costume on the floor.
HAIR- Please have your child’s hair done before hand, in a slick neat high pony tail for
all jazz, tap and hip hop numbers. Ballet numbers hair must be in a slick neat bun. Please
bring hair nets, and pins.
MAKE-UP- subtle blush, and red lipstick for girls. You may also use eye shadow, and
mascara if you like.

The show and dress rehearsal will be held at MONARCH PARK HIGH SCHOOL
located at (1 Hanson Rd)
The main intersection is Coxwell and Hanson, South of the Danforth.

 There is parking on the west side of the building. Please go to main doors at the front of
the school.

 During both dress rehearsal and the recital I ask parents to please drop off your child.
Help them get ready and exit as quickly as possible so your child can focus on their
rehearsal and show. There will be volunteers to look after your children. I appreciate all
your cooperation regarding this delicate matter during this busy time.


Tickets will be available at the door- $15 adults, $5 youths 5-10. Kids under 5 are free.
