Winter in Melbourne is not going to be boring this year

With everything that there is to do in Melbourne during winter this year, you will
actually want to be left out in the cold for a change because you’ll actually have
something to do. As long as you pack something warm to take outside with you, you
can go wherever your warm heart desires. There is a little something for everybody
once you get there and if you don’t plan things out a bit you might end up doing
nothing because of your inability to decide. In the end, it might just be best to get
out there and do the first thing that you see to try cut out all the extra choices. At
least then you can add a spark of spontaneity to your Melbourne trip.

If you need a place to stay when you get there, then you should try staying in the
lap of luxury if you are able to spoil yourself by staying in boutique Melbourne
apartments during your holiday there. You can check in, toss your bags down and
grab your coat before venturing off into the cold city where you can hope to find all
manner of things fun and exciting. If it gets too cold for you, then at least you can
stay indoors, snuggle up under a duvet in front of the telly, with room service at
your every beck and call and a roaring fire going in the hearth to keep the whole
apartment warm. When you are ready to brave the cold, you can head off to the
MCG to catch some thrilling sporting action with the AFL football league. A rather
gentlemanly sport like cricket gets marred with the boisterous, rough and tough
Australian rules version of the game. Regardless of how rough it gets, it is still
entertaining to watch. You can take walks around the city and enjoy the views during
the winter time. Boat rides up river will take you into the valley where you might
even get lucky enough to see snow, but it would need to get really cold for that or
you would have to be high up in the Dandenongs if you really want to see any. You
can enjoy the open air ice rink or go skiing on the slopes when the snowfall has been
heavy enough.

You can still experience a winter wonderland even though it isn’t a true snowy winter
like you get in the colder parts of the world. Australia still has its fair share of cold
weather so always make sure you dress warm in the winter.
