Today we’ll codify the conditions that determine what special kind of quadrilateral we
have given certain information.

 If 2 pairs of opposite sides of a quadrilateral are congruent, then it is a
parallelogram.
 If 1 pair of sides of a quadrilateral is parallel and congruent, then it is a
parallelogram.
 If the diagonals of a quadrilateral bisect each other, then it is a parallelogram.
 If one angle of a parallelogram is a right angle, then it is a rectangle.
 If the diagonals of a parallelogram are congruent, then in is a rectangle.
 If one pair of adjacent sides of a parallelogram is congruent, then it is a rhombus.
 If the diagonals of a parallelogram bisect the angles, then it is a rhombus.
 If the diagonals of a parallelogram are perpendicular, then it is a rhombus.
