   training requirements, including compliance with operator
   training mandates.

   • System Integrity – Each agency shall be
     responsible for maintaining the integrity of the
     system in accordance with applicable FBI CJIS

                     CPCMS Update

   • There are currently 8,018 active user logins.

   • There are 6.281M cases in CPCMS.

   • The users are printing approximately 15,000 forms and
     reports on a daily basis; there are 520 forms and reports
     now available within CPCMS.

   • In the first 6 months of 2007, 5.5M CPCMS docket sheets
     were printed from the UJS Portal averaging 929K per
     month; 18K MDJ cases are being transferred on a
     monthly basis.

                 CPCMS Training Opportunities

   • An on-line training registration system is now available
     within the CPCMS application for users of the system.

   • In addition to onsite training, county training and
     regional workshops, we are now offering training in
     county locations for surrounding county users.
             Classes are being offered in Lehigh, Centre, Monroe and
              Beaver Counties.

     Dependency module in order to collect statewide
     statistics for the Office of Children and Families

             CPCMS Enhanced Functionality - cont.


      • Cumberland County Pilot is underway for the
        electronic   entry of  CLEAN/NCIC   warrant
        information.
           A new criminal complaint has been designed and is available
            for use statewide.

           We are reviewing the results of the pilot before rolling out
            the project statewide.

           Functionality to withhold the electronic release of warrant
            information to CLEAN/NCIC for up to 72 hours has been
            added to CPCMS, as requested by the Attorney General and
            PSP.

            CPCMS Enhanced Functionality – cont.


   • As a result of this pilot, a new security role for District
     Attorney staff has been created:

         Provides the ability for the District Attorney’s office to issue and
          update warrant information in CPCMS.
            (assuming the DA’s office is on the county network)

         Provides limited write access to CPCMS to update associated
          defendant demographic information with approval from the
          President Judge and Clerk of Courts.
            (in pilot in Cumberland County)

   • We are well underway with the rewrite of the
     Appellate Court Case Management System
     (PACMS) holding JAD, detailed design and code
     review sessions.

   • We have developed a project plan and have
     begun internal detailed design sessions for the

     CPCMS case data through event-based messaging,

     accurate county and state confinement
     information.

        We are also asking for electronic information for the
         Act 84 funds so that the prison bulk checks can be
         entered electronically.

                 Interagency Projects –cont.

     • Staff is working with the PA Commission on
       Sentencing on several projects.
          PSI information is sent from CPCMS to a JNET application,
           based on one of six case events. This application is available
           to probation offices to alert them as to what PSI-related
           events have occurred for a defendant.
          We are also working on a pilot project to provide a
           modularized statewide PSI form completed in part with
           CPCMS information.
          In addition, we are working with the Sentencing Commission
           to provide CPCMS case information at the time of case
           initiation to populate its SGS Web application.

                 Interagency Projects –cont.

     • AOPC, JNET and CNET project staff met and continue with
       development of a pilot project to electronically file traffic and
       non-traffic citations into the Magisterial District Judge System.

           This would eliminate the need for filing of the actual paperwork in
            the Magisterial District Courts.

           The electronic transfer of data will allow the AOPC to reproduce the
            citations, if needed. AOPC will begin work with Allegheny County to
            pilot a project to electronically file criminal complaints into its case
            management systems.

           AOPC continues to define the technical requirements.

     Fingerprint Project.


         AOPC ran queries and continues to refine the data request.

   • If a change of custody needs to take place the SAVIN user will
     receive e-mails or phone calls, as requested, until he or she enters
     the PIN #.
