I recently had a customer tell me that National Capital Bank is one of the best
kept secrets in Washington, D.C. I was both flattered and conflicted by that
statement. As one of the safest and most stable banks in the Metro D.C. area,
we want to continue to spread the word about the quality of banking we offer.
Recently the metro-area has seen mergers and buyouts from both a national
and community bank perspective. These changes have undoubtedly disrupted
the stability and ease of use that their customers have come to expect.
If your neighbors, family or friends are experiencing these transitions and aren’t pleased with their new
banking experiences, please spread the good news about NCB. As Washington’s Oldest and Safest Bank,
we want to offer our financial services to a larger banking family. And we promise to keep true to
everything you’ve come to expect from us.

The Capital Kids’ Club is a special account designed to teach children the value
of saving - while having fun! At National Capital Bank, we know that being smart with
your money is important for grown-ups and children alike. Capital Kids’ Club members
receive their very own activity book, stickers, and official membership card. They can
also learn fun facts about the fish in our newly renovated fresh water tank in the lobby of
the Main Office.
Our new and improved tank now holds over 150 different fish and other underwater critters. Built to resemble a
“flooded rainforest,” the tank will be supplemented with signs and booklets describing the fish and their environment.
You can now admire the fish and be “schooled” in their aquatic habitat as well!
Visit National Capital Bank with your children and help them learn smart money management today.
