Easy Way To Keep Your Pool Clean

Swimming pool pump motors are the important components in running a swimming pool. They
make a big factor in ascertaining that it is properly filtered and take on the job of removing
debris from the water. This is a continuous work done by chemical distribution. It works closely
to ascertain the pool water is safe, clean and inviting.

Pool pumps play a vital role in maintaining swimming pools. Hence, it is essential to install pool
pump motors of good quality. Pool pumps and motors should be the best and requires a careful
purchase. The pumps in and above grounds have respective sets of requirements.

These pumps come in different sizes and qualities. This may seem confusing while walking into
a pool supply store as you see different products and chemicals. However, owning a pool implies
one need to know easy ways of keeping the pool clean.

The basic thing to concentrate is pH and alkalinity to ensure proper water maintenance. pH is for
hydrogen potential and power of hydrogen. The lower the pH, higher is the acidic in water and
higher the pH, more is the alkalinity. The pH levels need to be between 7.2 to 7.6 and this can be
altered owing to decomposing leaves, acidic rain, neglecting and grass.

Alkalinity describes balance and buffering capacity. This is not identical to pH as it regulates the
metal contents and pH levels. Water having low alkalinity level is susceptible to pH changes and
the water with high alkalinity levels easily resists pH level changes. The alkalinity ideal reading
must be between 80 to 150ppm.

The chemicals required to keep the pool clean includes:
    Chlorine Shock
    pH increase(Sodium Carbonate)
    pH decrease( Sodium bisulfate)
    Algaecide
 Filter should be clean with Psi reading as 10-12psi. If the reading lacks, you need to clean
the filter and check the filter hoses for leaks as these impede the filters.
 Know the number of gallons your pool holds. This is essential to treat it.
 Buy a start up kit of chemicals and follow the directions. However, wear eye protection
       and rubber gloves.
 Circulate chemicals for 16-24 hours and test water with test kit. Ensure the chlorine test
       levels are within 3.0 ppm.
 Add chlorine 3-4 times to the pool. After rains, add chlorine. Keep the pool covered, if
       not in use.
 Use leaf guard or skim net to clean grass, bugs and leaves from the surface.
 In case the water is milky, drain the pool and the fill it. Vacuum thrice a week.
