Biography my mother
My mother was born in 1967 in Náchod where she too growedse. She lived
in the panel house with his parents and sister. When she was twelve her father left
they. Then they moved at Dobšice its small village in south Bohemia where lived
with new father.
Every Summer Holidays my mother with her sister spent at her
grandmother. Grandmother bud my grand-grandmother was very nice and she lives
before the day is out bud her health is very bad.
When mother was fourteen decided that that he would study the agricultural
college in Tábor. She lived at the boarding house there.
In her seventeen years ran away from home with her friends. Her parents
found her after three days in Prague. She was frozen, hungry and lucky that she
was founded. To this day I don’t know why she ran up. Also she stopped studding
because it was boring for her. So she began working in the fabric.
In 1987 she waited with my father a baby. (It was my big brother Tom.) And
a year later she gave birth to me!!! It was happy day! But after four years they
divorced. And my mother fall in love with Petr. Petr is my second father and he is
very nice. We moved at Týn nad Vltavou where we live to this day. Last year
mother gave birth to my sister Petra. Now my sister is one year and she is super.

You have recently read a newspaper article about the new candidates for the 2016 Summer Olympic
Games. To your surprise, Czech Republic was among the candidates. You have chosen this topic for your
end-of-term English language essay.

Write an essay of 230 – 260 words arguing your point of view about whether or not it would be beneficial
for the Czech Republic to organize the 2016 Summer Olympic Games. Use specific examples and
reasons to support your position. In your essay, mention the effect such an event could have on the city /

Czech Republic as a 2016 Olympic Games Candidate

The Summer Olympic Games, which are organized every four year in another
country, are very famous and popular in the whole world. It’s worldwide event and the
Czech Republic is one of the 2016 Olympic Games candidates.

First of all, for Czech citizens it could be favourably as for incomes from tourism
and getting abreast of others organizers. It’s also possibility how to attract more tourists
and much publicity and interest from abroad.

On the other hand there are also many negatives connected with organizing this
sports meeting. The biggest problem I see in finance. As a olympic games organizer
country must have enough money. According to my opinion, the Czech Republic isn’t
too much wealthy. Yes, there would be some incomes but costs will be higher. The
proof we can find in 2004 when Athens organized the Olympic Games. Costs was
superior to incomes and there wasn‘t any profit. Furthermore we haven’t enough space
or specialized stadiums. The summer Olympic Games include many disciplines, which
are exacting of space and organizations. For example yachting, triathlon and so on.
Because of it we would have to rebuild old stadiums and build new places. Next
problem is accommodation of teams and promoters. We would have to built „ the
olympic village“ and it is all connected with finance. Finally, we would have to improve
traffic system, or complete it of provisory transport lines. And there also would be some
impact on inhabitants of Prague. Whether positive or negative. It depends on every one
of us.

In my opinion, to organize The Olympic Games in the Czech Republic is not
good idea. I knew, this games are not only about sport and money, it’s about people,
nations and reunion. But I have to look at it realistically and it’s obvious that it’s
impossible.

Where will the 2016 Olympic games be held?
Olympic games are one of the topics, which interest people all over
the world. And one of the most frequently asked questions is where will
Olympic games be held. One of the candidates for Olympic games in 2016
is Czech Republic.
There is some positives, but some negatives too. It is very
expensive business and according to my opinion Czech Republic hasn’t so
much money to prepare for this event. It is need to rebuild our existing
stadiums and build some new places for sports activities. On the other
hand, the country, and expecially Prague, will become more interesting for
foreigners and more popular in the world. Maybe it will bring much money
and more possibilities for students to find some brigade or work in this
time. It is chance to communicate in foreign languages and to get some
experience.
Olympic games in Czech Republic have other plus for lovers of
sports. They can be on place of games and they haven’t to go so far. It is
good opportunity for all our land.
I live in Prague, and I think, that Olympic games would influence life
in the capital the most. The Games will be bad influence on traffic in the
city. There won’t be places for parking and the way through town will be
long and exhausting. It is very stressing, mainly for older people. But on the
other hand, there will be a fantastic atmosphere and it will be unforgettable
experience.

I want to Olympic games in Prague, but I do not know sure, if Czech
Republic is able to organise so big event.

I have to say that I almost absolutely agree
with this statement. Mainly travelling to further destinations
of Europe cannot be taken by any other mea-
ning of transport. And of course, there is no else
way how to get on the islands. I cannot even see
any disadvantages of travelling by air. Nowadays,
we have several low-cost air companies and we
have to confess to ourselves, that prices of these
flights are really similar to prices of trains, not
talking about buses. There is a great difference
between four hours in plane and twenty four
hours in bus. I cannot stand getting to the
further destinations by land, because the comfort
in fulled bus is soon on the zero point. If I

have to talk about my own experience, I always
suffer from neck-ache and spin-ache, but it never
happens to me in airplane, because I am back on
the land yet before it comes:)
I cannot simply recommend to anyone the journey
to Europe further than 500 km while he

It is the most fast way how to travel not only around

Europe but all over the world. It is also more comfortable

then other means of transport. You just sit in yours seat

and that’s all, what you have to do. If you want to, you

can order something to eat or drink by an air-hostess.

In a few hours are you at the airport wherever you want.

But this is also a disadvantage of planes – airports aren’t

wherever we want, they are mostly in big cities. So then

you need to ride by bus or car. Some people also can say,

that plane is the most dangerous way how to travel.

There are lot of cases when the plane fall down. Everyone

In many countries the childrens have to wear uniforms,
therefore I am pleased that I live in a country where I can
wear what I want.

The uniforms are in the USA and Great Britain. In my

opinion, the uniforms have pros and cons. Firstly, the pros
of the uniforms are that the children look the same.
Furthermore, all children look as if they were of the same
rich status and the teachers aren´t influenced of their
appearance.
On the other hand, the cons of uniforms are that the children
can´t wear what they want and all have to look the same.

I think that everyone wants to wear what one wants. Lastly,
nobady wants anybody to tell him what he has to wear.

I personally dislike tight clouthes and a tai therefore I
shouldn’t wear the uniform, but fortunately I live in the
Czech Republic so I can wear what I like and what is

The government is discusing uniforms in schools. They
haven’t decided yet, but I think they should be quick. Basic

schools are having so many problems with their pupils. Young
people, maybe they are still kids, are spoilt of modern times.
And they have to learn to be tolerant. Therefore, the uniforms
could help in this case.
The uniforms are a good idea. They help to delete social
difference from school. In schools there are many cases of
bullying. The mostly it is weaker pupils, who haven’t brandy
clothes. The brands like Nike, Adidas, Puma and so on
determine standard of living and friendship. And this way
isn’t really the best for next life. That all should be gone with
the introduction of uniforms. Everyone would have the same
opportunity for making friends and show his individuality.
There will be no psychical violence, no physical violence and
the socially weaker pupils would look like the other pupils.
Very rich pupils couldn’t show their parents money and they
could find really normal and fine friends from other sociable
parts.
There is only one thing, which could be disquite. The pupils could
lose their personality and character. This is the second and
negative side. But I thing that a very strong personality can’t be
changed.
The uniforms helps with problems which we call „bully“ very
much. The password from government could be sounds: „Give 236 slov

be off for my classes. Bad news! I was washing your
favourite coffee cup and guess what – it fell from
my clumsy hands and smashed to pieces. I am so so
