The January 20th meeting of the Z Club of Texas began at 7:31 at the New New Buffet in
Addison, Texas. President, Jonathan Maddox introduced the other officers: Vice President,
Abel Rovira, Treasurer, Kay Newton, and Secretary, Lance Reedy.

Treasurer’s Report – Kay Newton - Club insurance policy and club trailer storage have both
been paid. A vote was taken and approved to pay the trailer storage quarterly.
Texas Tours – Kay Newton - February’s tour will be on the 26th to Clark’s BBQ in Tioga. A
signup sheet was circulated.
Community Service – Kay Newton - Upcoming event is Ronald McDonald House on 1/23.
Car Shows – Warren Kline and Bill Hayden - Autorama is 2/18 through 2/20. A signup sheet
was circulated for staffing the club display. Some new banners are in the works to refresh
the club’s Autorama display.
Tech Sessions – Edward Cheung - Sessions are still being planned.
Motorsports – Renee Hayden - The year’s calendar is still shaping up, updates will be pre-
sented in the coming months.
Boutique – Nancy Quan - The Boutique was open for shoppers tonight.
Website – A Forum will be added to the website before the next club meeting. Committee
chairs will be moderators, additional moderators are being sought.
Membership/Nissan/ZCON 2011 - Mike Taylor - A signup sheet was passed around to offer
members the option of opting out of the paper newsletters. The convention registration
is opening.
Guest Speaker - John Day - John runs Day Custom Engine in Richardson, website is

has been in the engine machining and rebuild business for some time and offers services
(non-Z car owner)
