The arts invigorate our community, inspire our children and create a sense of
self-discovery. As employees of (Your Company Name), we have the
opportunity to participate in the LexArts 2010 Fund for the Arts through
LexArts is the local area arts council and united arts fund serving Lexington and
central Kentucky. This year‘s campaign will raise $1 million, a majority distributed
to arts organizations through a review process. The LexArts Allocations
Committee examines artistic plans, financial
records and organizational leadership ensuring groups receiving funding are
held to high standards of management and community service.
Through the activities of Partner Organizations and Community Arts grants, your
contribution makes a difference to the region’s major arts organizations,
reaching individuals, teachers, children, seniors and others, providing quality arts
experiences and opportunities that would otherwise not be available. LexArts
own initiatives include Gallery Hop, Arts Showcase Weekend, Horse Mania 2010,
Youth Arts Council, Southern Circuit Film Festival, public exhibitions and the
newly formed Youth Arts Council.

the 2010 World Equestrian Games, working closely with the Lexington-Fayette
Urban County Government to increase public art in Lexington and ensure that
art is an integral part of Bluegrass living.
