                                    POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

                             SUBSTITUTE TEACHER
       SOUTH HILLS, WILKINS TOWNSHIP & KENNEDY TOWNSHIP PRESCHOOLS


QUALIFICATIONS:

1.   Bachelor’s degree
2.   Teaching certificate in special education or early childhood education
3.   Ability to adapt to job requirements
4.   Act 33/34 Clearances required
5.   Must be at least 21 years of age
6.   Ability to identify with Agency Mission Statement

KNOWLEDGE AREAS:
1. Knowledge area within subject field
2. Verbal and written communication skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teaching typically-developing and special needs children in an inclusive center-based preschool.
Monitoring student progress as required.

Daily pay is commensurate with the local school district’s substitute teacher pay rate.
